I think these two are wicked cute together and I would love to see what romance even looks like for them in the strange philosophical way that they exist and interact. A pretentious and pedantic conversation about the nature of love that gets personal? A version of the questions tennis scene where one of them panics and asks the other one out? Who do you think makes the first move?

I'm also down for angst and tragedy with these boys, we do love how absolutely and completely doomed they are

ngl my only knowledge of this play is from watching the Takarazuka musical and I don't speak Japanese, but the vibes on stage were hot. If it has this kinda energy (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcwuXLNW3N4) I'm happy. I am happy with major character death for this one (because, well, yeah) I am down for angst, and I am down for it being maximally fucked up and unhealthy! I go really feral about the kiss-of-death concept in this musical

The Left Hand Of Darkness

Genly/Estraven

I'd love any angst or fluff about these two!! The scene where Estraven goes into kemmer out on the ice is, of course, right there, and I feel like even Le Guin knew that the two of them should have gotten it on then...I'm also really here for any other sort of romantic wilderness survival, bed-sharing/huddling for warmth, nursing-back-to-health hurt comfort, the works! I'd also love fic exploring a happier ending where both of them survive at the end - what does their life together look like upon getting back to civilization.

Some thoughts on gender: I'm good with fic that uses the "he/him" pronouns for Estraven which LeGuin uses, but I also like "they/them" for Estraven! I'm in general interested in any exploration of Genly's thoughts about his attraction to Estraven, but it is important to me that that attraction is something he views as homosexual and masc4masc to some extent. I also really like takes on kemmer where Estraven takes on a male role in kemmer with Genly (and it's not just assumed that because Genly is male he will become female)

The Darkest Part Of The Forest

Ben/Severin

My favorite moment of canon between these two is the bit where Severin says "Is it wrong that I like it that you tremble? That you flinch?" and Ben just says " *flushed emoji* It's...not ideal." so anything with that kinda dynamic makes me very happy. I'd love to see maybe a scene where Ben comes to talk to Severin in the coffin before Severin wakes up, or maybe an exploration of listening to Ben talk to him from Severin's point of view! Or maybe a glimpse of their life after canon - how do each of them navigate being in the other's fae/human world? 

Lupin III

 Jigen/Goemon, Jigen/Goemon/Lupin, Jigen/Zenigata

I really ship pretty much any permutation of the Lupin crime family polycule, so just go crazy with this!! My favorite installments of the series are Red Jacket and Pink Jacket, and I in general love whenever Lupin stuff has a kinda batshit high-shenannagins tone but is nonetheless very wholesome. Tho also, I do love some Jigen angst...Any kind of hurt/comfort scenario with the gang or the gang and Zenigata is a sure win for me.

Jigen/Crazy Mash, Jigen/Dynamite Joe

I am a big believer in the theory that every hitman who recognizes Jigen from his past is one of his exes - and I'd love to see a prequel exploring what his relationship with one of those exes is like! I kinda get the sense that Jigen was a lot more self-destructive and less healthy in his relationships before he met Lupin - how does that come out in his relationship with Crazy Mash or Dynamite Joe, maybe? I also just wanna see what gay hitman cruising culture is like! How did they get together? Were they enemies to lovers to enemies again? Allies at some point?

Revolutionary Girl Utena

Touga/Akio

I've been rotating the Akio and Touga thing in my head a lot lately, and I think what gets me about their dynamic is the perfect cocktail of manipulation and abuse, but also hubris, which sets Touga up for tragedy. Love to see Touga's completely reckless and self-destructive pursuit of power. Love to see any moment where we realize how completely in over his head Touga is. Love to see Touga thinking he's winning when he is, in fact, losing.

Mikage/Mamiya

Since I wasn't really sure how to specify this in the tags, I am happy for this tag to mean "Nemuro/Mamiya [pre-canon]" or "Mikage/Mamiya-but-actually-it's-Anthy-in-disguise". If you go with the first approach, I am generally interested in your thoughts on what Mamiya was actually like (since we see so little of him which is actually narrated reliably in the series!) - what qualities did Mikage actually initially like in him? Do you think Anthy's performance is accurate to those, or has his affection for his idea of Mamiya been kind of twisted over time by the deception? If you go with the second approach, I'm just generally into the tragedy of it, and the inherent gothic horror vibes of two dead lovers hanging out in a burned down building together.
